Cancelling Orders
Learn how to cancel an order
Please follow the instructions below if you need to cancel an order. The instructions
vary based upon the type of order. Please see our Terms and
Conditions for further details.
Registrations
Domain registrations can be cancelled at any time, but refunds are only issued if the
cancellation request is made within 3 days of registration and your account does not have
excessive cancellations. To cancel a domain registration, log in to your account and visit
the Order History page. Click on the order number
containing the registration you would like to cancel and click the red "X" in the "Cancel"
column to process your cancellation.
Transfers
You may cancel domain transfers at any time prior to transfer completion. Refunds
will be issued if cancelled within 59 days from the transaction date. To cancel a transfer,
simply log in to your account and visit the Transfer
Manager page. You will see a cancellation icon for any transfers that have not
completed.
Renewals
Domain renewals can only be cancelled within 3 days of purchase. Please read Section
5(c) of our Terms and Conditions to ensure you understand the ramifications of cancelling a renewal. In short, cancelling a renewal will result in needing to permanently delete the domain except for certain automatic renewals. To cancel a renewal, log in to your account and visit the
Order History
page. Click on the order number containing the renewal you would like to cancel and click the red "X" in the "Cancel" column to process your cancellation.
Domain Restorations
Restorations are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
Marketplace Purchases
Marketplace purchases are not eligible for cancellation or refund.
